About me…

I’m a British-born, New Jersey-based photographer who likes to capture candid, every-day moments on the street and in communities. I enjoy capturing the real, authentic, unstaged moments that show the essence of what being human is.

For me photography is not only a tool that I use to express how I view the world and its inhabitants, but also as a form of therapy. It has helped me see the world in a more positive light and has enabled me to make connections with people. Photography has helped me overcome and manage struggles with mental health.

I believe that photography provides a level of intimacy between the photographer, the subject and the viewer that helps shrink cultural, racial and socioeconomic divides. In a world where the individual is more isolated than ever, the camera can help unite people, share truth and create more understanding in a society that seems to have a hard time finding common ground.
